Universal Android Live Legally Licensed Extraction
Universal Android Live Legal License Extraction is a unique new extraction feature that supports a wide range of unlocked Android devices. This extraction feature has been added to Android Smart Flow.
Smart Flow automatically selects the appropriate “Live” access method and works with Android devices that are not locked with a screen lock, including Qualcomm Live, Exynos Live, etc. During the extraction process, there is no need to select the device model and template , and the applicable device can be automatically selected by directly connecting the device extraction method.
After successfully connecting with the device, you can choose any supported extraction method. Universal Android Live supports the widest range of SoCs (System on a Chip) on the market: Qualcomm, MTK, Kirin, Unisoc (Spreadtrum), Exynos, and the new SoC JLQ (for Xiaomi Poco C4).
This feature has added many device models supported by the “Live” forensics method, without SPL (Second Program Loader) restrictions.
Supported device models are as follows:
- Samsung A12, A21, S22 Ultra (Exynos)
- All Google Pixel models (including Pixel 7 and 7 pro)
- Xiaomi Redmi 9/9A/9C, Xiaomi Redmi K50, Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T [Pro Plus]
- Oppo A15, Oppo Reno8 Pro Plus 5G, Vivo S15 PR
- Moto G Pure, OnePlus 10R 5G, Honor 70 Pro Plus
Even if the device is not included in the supported list, it is recommended to try to use Smart flow to extract.
Universal Android Live legally licensed data extraction has been added to the new Smart flow.
This update has improved the process of connecting Smart flow devices, and added a “Detect Device (detection device)” button.
UFED In-App software download and installation function improved
Stability & performance improvements for software auto-update and installation execution.
Selective archive extraction (beta feature)
This version update also introduces a beta version of “Selective File Extraction”.
This function allows forensic personnel to browse the file system and select specific files or folders for extraction. The metadata of the file itself will be preserved, and the digital evidence will not be changed, maintaining the integrity of the forensics. Filtering and searching will be available in the next version.

Snapchat Access Token Enhancements
Due to changes made by Snapchat authentication, we have temporarily disabled the ability to use tokens found on a device to download data for any account which is not currently logged in.
If you require cloud data from any account other than the currently logged-in account, it is suggested to wait until the next release of UFED Cloud.
The 14-day limitation for extracting Snapchat cloud data using Account tokens has been removed and the account tokens will now work indefinitely.
