TPS Tool V2 For Beginners
If you’re unlocking the bootloader unofficially on Xiaomi (Qualcomm) devices (regardless of the tool used), you may encounter errors like logo freeze or black screen. This happens because the bootloader file from another device with the same CPU is used. Some models need to be flashed with firmware from fastboot after being unlocked. Some models need to be unlocked again using a command from fastboot.
If you’re using Redmi Note 8, after unlocking and writing from fastboot, the device may reboot and hang. In this case, after unlocking from fastboot, reboot using fastboot to edl, and (if the phone is turned on at the back) write firmware from 9008 mode using testpoint.
For Mi 8 SE (sirius), Mi 9 SE (grus), etc., you need to downgrade before unlocking.
