New Examination and Validation Capabilities

iOS 17 Support: Apple launched iOS 17 in September 2023. PA7.65 supports changes made to existing features.
Additional Biome Support: Expanded the number of artifacts supported by iOS (17) Biome. PA can now parse the Location and Notes content.
Gallery Vault Android App Support: Enhances investigative capabilities by allowing you to decrypt the media items that you hid behind an additional layer of security. PA can now parse the User Accounts, Media, Main Folder, and sub-folders.
Telegram Android App Support: Now supports the latest Telegram for Android (Version 10.0.2 (4056)).
Discord App Support for Android: Now supports the latest Discord for Android (Version 183.17).
Notification for Missing Keystore JSON or Keychain Files: A new notification in the trace window now informs users when the Keystore JSON or relevant keychain files are missing from the extraction.
Google Takeout Location History: Location History is now linked to VisitedPosition to Journey.

Android

Gallery Vault: PA7.65 introduces support for Android Gallery Vault, allowing you to decrypt the media items that you hide behind an additional layer of security. PA parses User Accounts, Media, Main Folder, and sub-folders.

Locus Maps: Now supports the Locus Maps 4.19.0.

Discord: Now supports the latest Discord for Android and parses Contacts, User Accounts, Call Logs, and Chats (Version 183.17).

iOS

Google Password Manager: UFED Cloud renewed support for Google Password Manager.

Generic

Notification for Missing Keystore JSON or Keychain Files: A new notification in the trace window now informs users when the Keystore JSON or relevant keychain files are missing from the extraction.

Additional Support for Google Takeout: Added support for Google Takeout Fit, Google Takeout YouTube, and Google Takeout Contacts. Location History is now linked to VisitedPosition to Journey.

Self-Destruct Indication: PA now parses a “self-destruct” indication that provides the reason why a message was deleted.

Route Value to Journey Type: Added ‘Route’ value to the “Journey Type” to distinguish between visited and non-visited locations.

Known Limitations

The patch for libwebp (CefSharp v.116.0.230 / NIST CVE-2023-4863) has been released to the open-source community. It is partially integrated into the Physical Analyzer 7.65 release.
